“Inspired by the Doomsday Clock, an ominous symbol of the planet’s rapid progress towards destruction due to the technology and carelessness of mankind. The clock this year now sits at 100 seconds until midnight, symbolizing the man-made destruction of mankind. Every year, the artwork’s smart contract updates based on how close the Doomsday Clock is to midnight, losing time as we move closer to a point of no return. Like time itself the Doomsday Clock is just a man-made idea to help us to understand a greater concept but are we paying attention?”
