Pindar Van Arman (b. 1974) is an AI Artist turned crypto artist. He has been exploring artificial intelligence and creativity for almost twenty years and is best known for his painting robots which he designed and programmed to augment his own art practice. As an AI Artist, Van Arman was the recipient of multiple international awards including first place in Robot Art 2018. His art is also regularly covered in AI related media stories including features by Time, NPR, and Fine Art America. As a crypto artist, Van Arman was one of the first to mint on the Ethereum blockchain in 2018. Since then, he has been recognized as one of the leaders of the crypto art movement with his art having achieved several notable firsts and over 8,000 ETH of volume.
