Sasha Stiles is a first-generation Kalmyk-American poet, artist and AI researcher exploring what it means to be human in a nearly posthuman era. A pioneer of generative literature and blockchain poetics, she is the recipient of a Future Art Award and a nominee for the Forward Prize, Pushcart Prize, and Best of the Net. Her first book, Technelegy (Black Spring Press Group), co-authored with an AI alter ego, has been hailed as an ‘instant techno-classic’ and recommended by visionaries including Ray Kurzweil.

Stiles is also co-founder of theVERSEverse, a web3 gallery and writers’ collective where poems are works of art. Stiles’ multimedia, transdisciplinary work has been exhibited in both analogue and virtual venues around the globe, and presented at conferences and events worldwide.

A graduate of Harvard and Oxford, Stiles lives near New York City with her husband and studio partner, Kris Bones.
